Acts 1:8 Missions Ministry
Changing Lives through the Love of Christ
Here are some of the people that have had their lives changed through Acts 1:8. There is someone waiting for you to change theirs
(Only look at one at a time)
Meet Esdras Molme
Esdras is our mission coordinator and our Haitain son. He is an amazing man of God with huge heart for his people. An orphan himself, he adopted a little girl, runs our orphanage, speaks fluent English, teaches and feeds our children and constantly finds needs and meets them with grace. Watch the video on the left to see how his life has been changed.
Meet Duckenson Baptiste
Baptiste is also our mission coordinator and Haitian son. Baptiste is also very strong young man that loves God and his country. Baptiste volunteers to sleep on an orphanage rooftop to help guard those children. He feeds and cares for the children in our orphanage, he sews beautiful garments and does anything he can to help those in need.
Meet Dr. Max Part 1
Here he is introduced by Slate Bauknight. He works for a misson clinic and also has his own clinic. He works into the night and in very remote places, without power, needed supplies and many times without pay.
Meet Dr. Max Part 2
He works for a misson clinic and also has his own clinic. He works into the night and in very remote places, without power, needed supplies and many times without pay.
Our Orphanage
These children either have no family or their family cannot care for them. Through Acts 1:8, they have a home, eat 3 meals per day, go to school, and have medical care. We built unique beds for them with trampoline mats supplied by Fun Spot in Hartwell, GA. Their new home has water, solar, and is also close to their school.
Meet Stanley Mandatt
Stanley is a 15-year old orphan our family has "adopted". We sponsor him for school, built him his first bed, and love and encourage him. Stanley earned the highest grade in his class on his national test! All that intelligence and he had no possibility to attend school! He is a quiet young man and we are excited to be part of his life. Our son, Luke, also purchased a fishing boat and nets for his uncle he was living with.
Chillet Saint Louis - "Louis"
Louis is a 6 year old little boy. We met him December, 2016 as we built bunk beds for his orphanage and our daughter sponsored him for school. He had returned to the mountains with his parents when our daughter found him the following April. He was severely malnourished and would have died if we had not taken him and his brothers for medical care. He is recuperating in our orphanage along with his older brother, Robenson. We also support his family with food and a goat.
